very proud to offer my latest Angel painting - Angels in Heavens Sunlight among the wildflower stream !
size 24 x 36 x 1.5 ,painted in water mixable oils using a 3 inch brush and spray bottle in first layers to make a bit of a watercolor affect! I then use my fingers to add pops of color and blend in sky atmospheric background. ! The foreground I also use a brush for first layer and then build up color with my fingertips ! Paint is much thicker in foreground and not blended as much ! Water is blended using a brush and fingertips . Gold leaf is applied along Angels gowns and a bit in water for refections . I used a palette knife and added some white along the waterline where gold leaf is and dragged the white across the gold to give impression of water movement ! Touches also added with fingertips ! Painting completed 1-27 and should be dry enough to ship safely 2-7 !
